The company Georgian Berries will plant blueberry gardens in Samegrelo with German investment," Mariam Koyava, co-founder and managing partner of the business consulting firm SavvY, announced while visiting the “Tsertili" program.

“Our company is interested in different sectors; we see potential in various areas, including the agrosphere, which may not be very popular. We have become strong supporters of blueberries because we see a significant competitive advantage locally. After several months of active work, we succeeded in getting German investors interested in a sector that is not typically within their profile. We jointly signed the project, which includes an investment of GEL 8 million to cultivate a 30-hectare blueberry orchard. This is the first regional investment for these investors," she added.

According to her, one of the company's priorities is attracting investments to the country, which was explained by Mariam Koyava with reference to the company's accumulated experience.

The main strength of our company is finance, which we have built up organically. We are conducting negotiations with investors and financial institutions regarding specific projects or companies. Over time, investors have started asking about the direction and types of investment projects we can offer. Therefore, we have recently been very active in attracting investments," explained the co-founder.
