SavvY Logo oldCOVID-19 is currently spreading rapidly and causing significant economic damage worldwide. As part of its corporate social responsibility, the consulting company SavvY aims to support small and medium-sized businesses that are severely affected by the pandemic on a daily basis. To address the challenges posed by COVID-19, SavvY has collaborated with Holy Motors and Holar Software to develop an innovative online platform: www.supportbusiness.ge.

Tornike Chkhaidze, managing partner of SavvY, talked about the idea of creating a new online platform and outlined the company's objectives for this initiative:

"Since the day the coronavirus became widespread, we have been actively monitoring the situation. The sudden events have placed the entire world, including representatives from various sectors in Georgia, in front of unexpected challenges. After analyzing all of this, we have considered how to help the most vulnerable - small and medium businesses during this period. Therefore, we have created an online platform to support business sector representatives - individual entrepreneurs or legal entities - to promptly identify challenges, assess expected results, and find quick, effective solutions.

We also spoke with Giorgi Avaliani, the founder and creative director of Holy Motors. He emphasized the importance of embracing new challenges with a fresh perspective and innovative approaches. He believes a changing society requires a new agenda - new ideas, services, and brands that can effectively and creatively address our evolving social landscape. For us, the primary focus is to transform new concepts into tangible brands while navigating their development in an engaging manner. However, we have to deal with urgent situations with urgency  - today, design and communication tasks should be approached as real-world problems that need immediate attention in today's context, rather than simply as activities to pass the time or maintain a positive mood.”

Through the "supportbusiness.ge" platform, businesses in the country will have the opportunity to share the challenges they've faced due to the COVID-19 pandemic. SavvY's professional team, in collaboration with partner organizations, will provide practical solutions to these challenges. Additionally, the platform will offer daily business news, practical recommendations and guides. Furthermore, business representatives and others will be able to attend online seminars on trending topics in the business sector.

The platform operates based on the following principles:

Step One: Visit the platform and choose your business's current challenge(s).

Step two: Indicate which sector you operate in - mark the sector(s) to better identify the problem.

Third stage: Add a detailed description of your specific business challenge. It is necessary to leave your contact information so that SavvY's consultants will be able to contact you shortly.

The final stage includes feedback and the proposal of an action plan. At this stage, the platform's beneficiaries, according to the scale of the challenge, will be proposed an action plan along with support in implementing it completely free of charge.

"We at SavvY believe that in this way, we will help numerous businesses and significantly alleviate the difficult situation caused by the pandemic," Tornike tells us at the end of the conversation.
