Feasibility Study

The initial feasibility study for the logistics center was conducted on a 2-hectare site in Tbilisi. The project aims to create a regional logistics hub that will transport goods from Poti and Batumi and handle and store them on behalf of customers in its A-class warehouse.Intensive market research was conducted to analyze the demand and supply of the service in the Georgian market and the trends reflecting the market conjuncture. The business concept and financial model were prepared to determine the feasibility of the project.

 Feasibility Study For The Logistics Center

&nbsp;SavvY carried out a feasibility study of laurel and blueberry garden cultivation on the 40 hectares land located in Ozurgeti municipality. While working on the project, SavvY team conducted a research on the laurel and blueberry market, which identified supply, demand and sales opportunities in Georgia. Based on the information gathered during the research, the assessment of the initial investment required for the project and the analysis of the prepared 10-year forecasted revenues and expenditures, the team prepared feasibility analysis of individual projects: 1. Laurel Garden and 2. Blueberry Garden.&nbsp;In addition, based on the biological analysis of the land, the team developed and evaluated the combined project, which involves dividing the land into two parts and cultivating both crops.

The project implied the preparation of a feasibility study for the introduction of the pooling of foldable crates to the market. Crates pooling involves pooling reusable boxes or containers for product transportation and storage of fresh fruits and vegetables.This project was financed by&nbsp;Gazelle Finance, a private equity fund manager based in the South Caucasus that invests in high-growth companies in countries in Eastern Europe. Gazelle Finance, with the support of its investors, provides direct payments for market research, business plan, financial viability, market entry studies, business advisory/legal assistance, expert advice, etc., to a select group of Ukrainian companies and their employees, who have been forced to relocate or disperse across the region.In terms of this project, our team analyzed the market: The role of agriculture in Georgia’s economy and the consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables. Special attention was given to the fruits and vegetable market. The team prepared the value chain analysis along with the overview of various sale points (such as FMCG or specialized stores), domestic production, and wholesale and distribution channels.The document also provided a thorough analysis of the plastic crate market in Georgia with an emphasis on local production and imports.SavvY team also conducted in-depth interviews with chain supermarkets’ representatives, mostly with supply chain directors to identify their challenges of using disposable crates and the interest in the project.Within the framework of the project, our team worked on a financial model, the main goal of which was to assess the feasibility of the investment based on assumptions obtained through market research and active communication with the customer. The financial model included a profit and loss statement and capital expenditure estimation for 7 years. Feasibility Study for the Expansion of EximCrop in Georgia

SavvY conducted a feasibility study to evaluate the building of a hotel on a 46-hectare land plot in Kvareli. In terms of research, a detailed market analysis was conducted, taking political, social-economic, technological, cultural, environmental, and legal factors all into consideration. The project itself included international and domestic visitors’ quantitative and qualitative research, hospitality industry trends, statistics of accommodation units, and market competitors, along with a detailed analysis of the hotel’s pricing strategy. The research also included interviews with the representatives from seven inbound travel agencies. For the project, SavvY negotiated with several international companies, giving viable suggestions to the client for operating the hotel. A strong concept and convincing financial calculations were prepared for the investment project that was based on industry supply and demand trends. As a result of the feasibility study, the investment was evaluated with high reliability.
