Discussion Paper for Pasha Bank on Potential Opportunities in Corporate Banking in Georgia

SavvY prepared a discussion paper for Pasha Bank on potential opportunities in corporate banking in Georgia. The main purpose of the document is to assist the panelists with the primary data and reasoning on the possible ways for Pasha Bank to grow its corporate lending business in Georgia.

The project conducted primary and secondary research in Georgia to identify lending methodology, examine existing bankruptcy models, and assess the potential for Pasha Bank to enter the corporate market. The SavvY team performed a detailed analysis of relevant literature and replicated bankruptcy models for Georgia. The team also conducted interviews with credit and risk officers and examined in detail the current lending process of the leading banks in Georgia. To determine the possible directions of Pasha Bank's development, the SavvY team also interviewed experts in the sector.

Based on the information gathered during the research phase, SavvY has proposed possible new strategies and products for Pasha Bank that can be introduced to enter the corporate lending market and that will meet the requirements of the Georgian market.
