Financial Model for Digital Marketplace
Phubber
Our team actively worked with Phubber, one of the outstanding companies in the Georgian startup ecosystem. Phubber is the first Georgian digital marketplace that connects people who want to buy and sell clothes, accessories, and self-care products. This platform lets you discover Georgian designers' collections, authentic brands, vintage pieces, mass-market brands' outlets, and pre-loved items.
SavvY team created a financial model that included the following:
- Budgeting and Forecasting - Estimated future revenues, expenses, and cash flows based on historical data and market trends.
- Valuation and Investment Analysis - Assessed the value of a company or specific investments. This involved analyzing financial statements, market conditions, and industry trends and applying valuation techniques such as discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis
- Scenario Analysis - Evaluated the potential impact of different scenarios or assumptions on the company's financial performance.
- Financial Statement Modeling - Building comprehensive models to project the company's financial statements, including income and cash flow statements.
- Sensitivity Analysis - Analyzed the impact of changes in key variables or assumptions on the company's financial performance.
- Financing and Capital Structure Analysis - Assessed the impact of different financing options and capital structure decisions on the company's financials. This included modeling debt and equity financing, calculating interest expenses, evaluating debt repayment schedules, and analyzing the cost of capital.
The main goal of our team was to help the company translate its future strategy into financial indicators. The Phubber team used this financial model to raise funding with potential investors.
